Coaching and Mentoring Teens Through Community Service
Katherine Burks heads up the development of several approaches to helping teens find their best-fit community service. Richard Bach said "we teach best what we most need to learn." Katherine's personal journey reflects this and has strengthened her commitment to personally contributing to a shift in understanding of how to create context and support for teens' experience of service. She is currently:
- leading The VizAbility Project...one-to-one mentoring of teens that feel called to make a bigger contribution - beyond what's required.
- working with a team to create an avenue for bringing support (in a much bigger way) to many more teens.
- offering individual and small group community service coaching.
